Procedure

These days MCP has around 1000 members. You can imagine how many notes we receive! A lot! Obviously, we can't post every photo. Furthermore, we don’t want to post every photo we receive. Thre are clubs that subscribe to this method in order to grow community spirit. We think that is great, but MCP doesn’t share that mission. Its mission and purpose is to seek out the monocolour pearls on dA. That’s why the MCP crew reviews carefully and selects only some of the submissions. We also request photography from artists in the dA community whose work is of a certain quality.

Frequently people complain that we didn’t post their photos. Moreover, there are some people demanding explanations for rejection. Once again: we handle a pretty high volume of incoming notes. We can't and won't explain our decisions. Commiting to that level of communication would make running a club with 1000+ members unmanageable. While we feel that gesture would be something we would like to provide, it just isn't feasible. Several people are working in the background of MCP to deliver outstanding, beautiful and exceptional monocolour photography right to your devWATCH. We like what we do, we do it in our freetime, and we do it when time permits. We are not getting credit or pageviews from this. Hopefully you can understand that this is a labor of love of photography!
